WHEN YOU SAID YES TO CUBA

WHEN YOU SAID YES TO CUBA

When you said yes to Cuba, you said yes to sending a team of 17 God-loving, servant-hearted people on mission to bring the love of Jesus to a community in desperate need of hope.

The home you are looking at belongs to a pastor who has said yes to the Lord. He and his family tend a farm that helps feed hungry children, and they open their own home as a house church for their community.

And this was only one of many house churches we visited.

The needs are difficult to put into words. Electricity can be unavailable for long periods of time—sometimes for an entire day. Cooking requires a fire. Food must often be prepared daily because many homes have no reliable way to keep it refrigerated.

This particular home had no running water. Dishes are washed by hand using pots filled with soap and water.

Can you imagine?

And yet, in the middle of circumstances that many of us would consider unbearable, we encountered people faithfully serving God, loving their neighbors, feeding children, opening their homes, and advancing the Gospel with what little they have.

These pastors and house churches don't need our pity. They need our partnership.

There is so much work still to be done—repairs, improvements, resources, food, and practical support that can strengthen these churches and the families they serve.

This is why FREEDOM Ministry says yes to missions.

Because freedom isn't meant to stop with us.

FREEDOM • DISCIPLESHIP • MISSIONS
